I always advise my clients that if you currently have health insurance, even if you’re not happy with the plan, or think you’re paying too much, DO NOT cancel your current coverage until you’ve been approved for a new plan! Just because you were approved before, your health could have changed since the original application was submitted and therefore there is no guarantee you will be approved again.
